This week has been cold, grey and rainy here in upstate New York.
Although I am longing for sunny days and warmer weather,
I loved these evocative photos from a collection of this changing season.
After all, what would spring feel like, were it not for the winter preceding it?
Would we be able to savor the warmth of a sunny day,
or the color and life in a simple crocus blossom?
