As much as I cannot stand Americana and its corresponding trite patriotism,
I still like the idea of festivities surrounded by food, family and fireworks.
I spent mine at the pool, looking out passed the mountains
at the most incredible lightning storm.
It could not be photographed in any way shape or form,
making it so transient and fleeting,
it was indescribable.
The best natural firework show one could ever ask for.
Despite my dislikes, I still wish you all a happy 4th!
