the full context of history

I have really been feeling this lately. This week was a tough one for this land of the free and home of the brave.

What does it mean to claim equal protection under law, or even the freedom, yes the right to bear arms in order to defend oneself against tyranny, when the usage of that firearm results on an officer's leg results in the unaccounted-for death of one's partner in one's home in the middle of the night by unannounced and plain-clothed policemen in a raid that had nothing to do with her? They were charged for the damage of drywall, not the extinction of a human life.

America, what the h%*# do your supposed ideals mean if they don't guide in this situation?

It is utterly mind boggling, sad, and so very, very infuriating. And kudos to a nation-wide movement that yes, Black Lives Matter.
