One thing that really irks me about modern life and the glorification of technology's power is the ease with which true difficulty is reduced to several bytes, exemplified in this stunning but perplexing video. I love the demonstration of the sheer expanse and variation of landscape in this country shown through a single footpath. But I hate that it seems so simple thanks to a 3-minute video. Does anyone else struggle with this?
The Pacific Crest Trail is a 2,663 mile footpath from Mexico to Canada by way of California, Oregon, and Washington. It passes through 25 national forests and 7 national parks.
