Sometimes I feel like America really needs to move on from obsessing about itself and how great it is.

Flying through so many different countries and cities (specifically Istanbul) recently, I am overwhelmed at the huge size of this tiny planet and the diversity of cultures in it.

May we celebrate our differences more this year,
rather than insisting on our own greatness.
