Women's March 2018

I was in Chicago for the Women's March this weekend, and was overwhelmed by the sheer numbers in downtown Chicago.

I was also SO tickled by all of the posters.
The protest was even larger than last year's,
and carried even more weight.

It gave me a new appreciation for 1963 and the Civil Rights movement. The sentence in some article has stuck with me: what would have happened if Rosa Parks had twitter?

As suspicious as I am of mass gatherings, it is hard not to want to get involved in something to counteract the disaster of politics in this country right now.
