a day of facts

Yay for museums that are taking a stance on science--way to go Chicago!
I cannot believe that we are still debating this in the 21st century. Galileo must be rolling over in his grave.

Did you know that octopuses have three hearts? Or that more time has passed between T. rex and Stegosaurus than T. rex and humans? Here at The Field Museum, scientists are constantly striving to make new discoveries and gain a better understanding of life, nature, and the world around us.

As part of the #DayOfFacts, we asked some of our science communicators and experts to take us through Evolving Planet to highlight several of the many facts that can be found in the exhibition (and the Museum). We’re always doing research and learning more, and we invite you to be curious and explore the facts alongside us.
