good reminder

The fact that I have been struggling internally lately is no secret.
Several people passed away unexpectedly, 
good intentions did not turn out the way I had hoped.

It takes a certain mental discipline to be ok 
with the comings and goings of emotion, memory, and thoughts. 

How do you survive these waves--
a good cup of tea,
a phone call with your best friend,
a trip to the beach,
a heart-rending interview,
a good book,
a walk in the forest?

Any and all good thoughts are so appreciated.
