As I have been facing my own internal demons lately, I have been torn by a desire to hibernate from all of these difficulties of being an adult, or to accept the challenge to my flexibility with an open heart. In other words, take the situation as it is, whole hog. From a distance, I could whole-heartedly say options 1-6.
