will you be my valentine?

One of my favorite days of the year...
Instead of working on my lecture recital or practicing,
I spent the evening making valentines and cookies
for my friends and my students, reminiscing about Opa and Oma.

I caught myself loving that I have so many different Valentines this year,
near and far.

It no doubt made me so much happier and so very grateful.
