Who has not had to purchase that thin little copy
of Strunk & White Elements of Style?
And who has actually opened it for more than 2 seconds
before it got lost in the bottom of the locker
or in between books on the bookshelf?
I remember being flabbergasted to learn that the White of Strunk & White
was the same White of Charlotte's Web, Stuart Little and The Trumpeter and the Swan.
(His initials stood for Elwyn Brooks by the way).

Well here is a little something to make the dryness a little more palatable:
the Elements of Style rap by Columbia grads students
Jake Heller (“Strunk”) and Ben Teitelbaum (“White”)
