teaching

I often consider what it actually takes to teach dedication and passion,
especially when it comes to something as finicky and picky as music,
requiring so much more energy and discipline than could subsist on pure talent.

Are those qualities that can even be taught?

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people together to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.”
